Handbells have been ringing at Frist Baptist Church for the last 50 years or longer and continue to be a vital part of the music and worship of our church today.
Our three octaves of bells and three octaves of handchimes are rung by a diverse group of volunteer ringers. You might find bells ringing in the hallway, on the street corner, in the mountains, or even in Sunday morning worship.
Equally important as these performance opportunities are the beautiful music and times of worship that are a part of the weekly rehearsal.
Rehearsals at 5:30 on Monday nights are a time of ringing, learning, and fellowship. New ringers, both experienced and novice, are welcome.
